Job summary

Golden Yolk is a large, established layer poultry farm seeking a Junior Farm Manager to join our team in South Africa. The role focuses on assisting in the management of layer farming activities, houses, and stock, with emphasis on bio-security and production planning.

You will supervise team members, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to efficient farming operations. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, have exposure to agriculture (preferably poultry), and

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (diploma/degree) beneficial.
• Previous exposure to the agriculture industry will strengthen the application.
• Exposure to a layer poultry production environment will be beneficial.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Solid interpersonal skills and professional administrative and computer skills.

Golden Yolk is a large, established layer poultry farm.The company currently has Junior Farm Manager roles available in the following areas: Patterson, Paarl and Bloemfontein. (Kindly apply only for one of the positions, whichever best suits your preference.)

This position is ideal for a dynamic person who wants to grow his/her career. The ideal candidate is a neat and proactive individual with excellent leadership, planning and communication skills (Afrikaans and English).
