Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Junior Ergonomist to help ensure a safe and healthy workplace. You will perform ergonomic assessments, identify hazards, and recommend changes to improve safety and comfort.

You will review work practices, apply OHS Act 1998 guidelines and ILO/WHO workplace health guidelines, and conduct investigations to address specific risks. The role emphasizes practical recommendations and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum three-year degree (NQF 7 or 8).
• 1 year of ergonomics experience, preferably in banking or corporate industry.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy in Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ergonomic risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Review work practices and recommend changes as required.
• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act 1998 through ergonomic assessments.
• Undertake detailed ergonomic investigations and make improvement recommendations.
