Job summary

Hire Resolve’s client in Vereeniging is seeking a junior Draughtsperson to join their team, focusing on AutoCAD drawings for concrete construction and structural steel projects.

You will work with engineers and project managers to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings, maintain records, and ensure deadlines are met in a close-knit environment.

Matric and N4/N5 in Draughting along with 2–3 years’ experience are required, with detail-oriented mindset and strong teamwork to succeed.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate.
• N4/N5 qualification in Draughting or related technical field.
• About 2–3 years of relevant draughting experience.
• Practical AutoCAD experience.
• Experience producing both 2D and 3D drawings.
• Prior experience in concrete construction and structural steel engineering.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, steel structures and building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and update accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Assist with structural steel detailing and concrete construction drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and team members.
• Interpret technical specs, plans and project requirements.
• Update drawings based on design changes and feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation.
• Help ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
