Job summary

One Connect Solutions is seeking an experienced Drawing Office Supervisor to oversee the draughting team for concrete and steel structures in a heavy-industry setting.

The role requires 15–20 years in engineering design draughting, strong leadership, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit. MicroStation knowledge is a plus, along with a valid SA drivers license and citizenship.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years' experience in engineering design draughting, focusing on concrete and steel structures.
• Experience on industrial plants within Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining or Power generation.
• Experience supervising draughting teams.
• Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation is advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and SA citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the drawing office and manage draughting personnel.
• Plan, coordinate and prioritise draughting projects and resources.
• Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to draughting teams.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings for concrete and steel structures.
• Perform 3D modelling, construction drawings and clash detection.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate drawings.
• Maintain drawing documentation, quality standards and deadlines.
• Develop and implement draughting procedures and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements
