Job summary

Bash in Cape Town is seeking a junior designer to join the creative team. You will craft on-brand artwork across digital and print channels and learn to work across social, email, web, and in-store assets.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of design experience with a strong portfolio, Proficiency in Adobe CC and basic Figma knowledge, with a keen eye for typography and layout. This full-time role offers growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field.
1–2 years' experience in a design role, internship or agency environment.
Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

Support the creative team in producing on-brand artwork across digital and print channels.
Design and adapt creative assets for social media, email campaigns, website/app content, paid media, digital marketing campaigns, in-store POS and print collateral.
Resize and update existing artwork for multiple platforms and formats.
Assist with creating motion graphics, animations and short-form video content for digital channels.
Edit basic video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
Prepare artwork for digital and print production.
Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative assets.
Work closely with designers and other team members to deliver creative work on time.
Use AI-powered creative tools to assist with ideation, image creation and production tasks.
Stay up to date with design trends and continuously develop your creative skills.
Take feedback positively and apply it to improve your work.
