Job summary

Scistaff in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Digital Designer to create artwork for digital, print, retail and internal communications. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions, while maintaining brand identity.

You will also craft social content, websites and campaigns, develop packaging artwork for launches and assist with basic video editing, motion graphics and adaptive artwork for multiple formats.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or related field required.
• 1–2 years' experience in Graphic/Digital Design or Marketing.
• FMCG/Retail/food manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce artwork for digital, print, retail and internal communications.
• Create content for social media, websites, emails and campaigns.
• Develop marketing collateral including brochures, banners and POS material.
• Assist with product launches by creating packaging artwork and assets.
• Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines and corporate identity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development to interpret briefs.
• Edit and retouch product photography and marketing images.
• Assist with basic video editing and motion graphics for campaigns.
• Resize and adapt artwork for multiple platforms and formats.
• Write and edit engaging marketing copy when required.
• Maintain an organized library of assets and templates.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines and stay updated on trends.
