Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant construction management, building science, civil engineering qualification or practical site experience.
• SHE/H&S Representative qualification and practical experience required.

• Good MS Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring work meets specifications and programme.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, materials and resources.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging and handovers.
• Assist with health & safety compliance, inspections, toolbox talks and documentation.
• Maintain daily/weekly site records, progress and photographic reports.
• Track RFIs, snags, site instructions and outstanding work.
• Assist with project programmes, measurements and progress claims.
• Attend site/project meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and subcontractors.
• Identify and escalation construction, quality, programme and safety issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering qualification or relevant practical site experience.
• SHE/H&S Representative qualification and practical experience - required.
• Previous construction/site experience.
• Experience coordinating/supervising subcontractors.
• Ability to read drawings and understand construction processes.
• Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Advantageous

• Site Supervisor, Site Agent or Junior Construction Manager experience.
• Commercial, industrial or civil construction experience.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Procore or similar.
• Own reliable vehicle and additional H&S qualifications.
• Ideal Candidate: Hands-on, proactive, organised and confident dealing with subcontractors and multiple project sites.
