Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Strong academic foundation in municipal infrastructure design principles.
• 0-2 years of post-graduate experience; internships or vacation work are highly regarded.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant municipal design standards is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to public infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects such as water reticulation, sewer networks, and roads.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Support the site supervision and quality control of construction activities for municipal works.
• Conduct site investigations and data collection for project planning and assessment.
• Liaise with internal departments, external consultants, and contractors as required.
• Help maintain project documentation and records for municipal infrastructure schemes.
