Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa in Durban is seeking a Junior Buyer for the Babies Department. You will support the Category Manager in range selection, supplier management, stock analysis and promotional execution, ensuring products are safe, high quality and aligned with parent and baby needs.

This role demands strong commercial awareness, sharp analytical ability, attention to detail and proactive teamwork to deliver sales and inventory targets while developing broader merchandise

Qualifications

• Experience in baby retail advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with focus on sales, stock and margins.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Track and analyse sales, GP, margin, stock turn and rate of sale.
• Support range planning, product selection and reviews.
• Load and maintain product, supplier and SKU data.
• Process listings, delistings, price changes and promos.
• Coordinate with Marketing on product info, pricing and photography.
• Ensure promotions align with stock and launch dates.
• Develop broader merchandise capability with Category Manager.
