Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants in South Africa is seeking a meticulous bookkeeper/creditors clerk to support the finance team in Paarl. You will perform shipping reconciliations, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records, working closely with the finance department.

The role requires matric with bookkeeping qualification, 1–3 years’ experience, and accuracy under pressure. Agricultural processing experience and SAIPA articles are advantageous; Syspro experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Matric with bookkeeping or accounting qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
• Agricultural processing experience preferred.
• Creditors clerk experience required.
• SAIPA articles advantageous.
• Experience with shipping reconciliations and payment processing.
• Experience processing bank transactions.
• Syspro or similar ERP experience advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well organised and deadline‑driven.
• Able to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping reconciliations and analyse shipping costs.
• Process payments and bank transactions.
• Manage SASA rebate administration.
• Complete credit card reconciliations and related administration.
• Assist with fixed asset administration.
• Process ad hoc invoicing.
• Maintain accurate financial records and transaction processing.
• Provide general financial administration and support to the finance team.
