Insrep Construction, a well-established firm in Cape Town, seeks a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to manage payroll and bookkeeping across three companies. You will ensure compliance with BIBC, FEM, and SARS, maintaining accurate records using Pastel Payroll and QuickBooks.

The role is full-time and permanent, based in Cape Town (Paarden Eiland). Experience with payroll and accounting software is essential; strong attention to detail and confidentiality are required.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5 years of payroll and bookkeeping experience (preferably in construction but not essential).
• Proficient in Pastel Payroll, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel or similar software.
• Knowledge of BIBC, FEM, SARS, and EE compliance.
• English and Afrikaans communication advantageous.
• Able to handle sensitive financial data confidentially.

Mansioni

• Bookkeeping across three companies
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks for three companies
• Generate and follow up on invoices; match payments and reconcile accounts
• Oversee supplier payments, bank reconciliations, VAT and cashflow reporting
• Support year-end audit processes and documentation for BEE and POPIA compliance
• Payroll using Pastel Payroll for weekly and monthly staff payments
• Administer submissions and contributions to BIBC and FEM, including claims and reports
• Handle payroll tax reconciliations and reports (EMP201, EMP501, EE Certificates)
• Track staff advances and ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation and timelines
