You will handle bookkeeping up to trial balance, assist with VAT schedules, payroll support, and maintain accurate records using Sage Evolution and Excel tools.

Qualifications

• Matric with Accounting or Mathematics as a subject.
• Tertiary qualification in Financial Management or Accounting.
• Experience managing financial records up to trial balance.
• Hands-on experience using Sage Evolution accounting software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of creditors reconciliations, VAT schedules, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process daily bookkeeping entries up to trial balance.
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist onboarding group creditors.
• Assist with month-end VAT schedules and audit preparation files.
• Support monthly payroll records and carry out basic payroll duties.
• Capture daily financial entries using Sage Evolution.
• Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card expenses.
• Prepare clear spreadsheets for review.
