Job summary

Job Description

• Process daily bookkeeping entries accurately right up to trial balance.
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist with onboarding new group creditors.
• Assist the team with month-end VAT schedules and audit preparation files.
• Support monthly payroll records and carry out basic payroll administration duties.
• Capture daily financial entries smoothly using Sage Evolution software.
• Reconcile company bank accounts, petty cash floats, and credit card expenses.
• Prepare clear spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for review.

What You Need to Apply

• Matric certificate with Accounting or Mathematics passed as a subject.
• Tertiary qualification: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Financial Management or Accounting.
• Working experience managing financial records up to trial balance.
• Practical, hands-on experience using Sage Evolution accounting software.
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of creditors reconciliations, VAT schedules, and variance analysis.
• A positive attitude, a keen willingness to learn, and strong team-player spirit.
