Placements24 presents a Junior Architect opportunity with a growing architectural practice in George, South Africa. You will contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination, working closely with experienced architects to bring architectural concepts to life.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections), developing design concepts, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining project documentation to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 0-3 years of experience in an architectural design role.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of South African building regulations and construction practices.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
• Support the team in developing design concepts and presentation materials for client meetings.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors during the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site analysis and assist in preparing specifications for materials and finishes.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to design timelines.
