Job summary

Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking a motivated Junior Architect to join a vibrant practice. You will support senior architects in design and development across all project phases, gaining exposure to diverse typologies and contributing fresh perspectives.

Ideal candidates have a BArch or equivalent, 1–3 years’ experience, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. A hybrid work model and mentorship opportunities are offered to help you grow within the team.

Qualifications

• BArch or equivalent degree in Architecture.
• 1–3 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of architectural principles and construction methods.
• Strong graphic and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, concept sketches, and presentation materials.
• Develop detailed drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
• Conduct research on building materials, codes, and zoning regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors under the guidance of senior staff.
• Participate in site visits and assist in documenting site conditions and progress.
