Job summary

Rosetta Roastery in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Accountant & Systems Administrator to own day-to-day accounting tasks and help optimise our cloud software stack. You’ll report to the Finance Manager in a hands-on, fast-moving environment across recon, invoicing and supplier management.

Ideal candidates have a BCom in accounting or similar, 1+ years in cloud accounting, and an enthusiasm for automation and better workflows within a hospitality-focused business.

Qualifications

• Qualified BCom Accounting or similar.
• 1+ years' experience in cloud accounting.
• Interest in automation and system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations: reconciliations, invoicing, supplier management, compliance admin.
• Assist in improving and automating accounting processes.
• Maintain and improve Xero workflows, reports and bank feeds.
• Identify automation and integration opportunities across cloud accounting stack.
