Job summary

Manpowergroup is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of the full finance function. Responsibilities include processing invoices, month-end closings, reconciliations, payroll, SARS submissions, and budgeting support.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, a BCom in Accounting, and completed SAIPA/SAICA articles, with in-office work in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. Proficiency in Sage Pastel and strong accuracy, time-management, and organisational skills are essential for timely, compliant

Qualifications

• Required BCom in Accounting and SAIPA/SAICA articles completed.
• Minimum of 6 years' bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
• Proficient with Sage Pastel and month-end close processes.
• Strong SARS VAT, PAYE, and payroll knowledge in SA context.
• Ability to work in-office in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage monthly accounts.
• Manage bank accounts and payment loading.
• Perform bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations.
• Process accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
• Manage payroll, VAT, PAYE and credit control.

• Monitor and manage cash flow and forecasting.
• Assist with budget preparation and budget vs actual reporting.

• Take full ownership of the month-end close process.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date.
