Job summary

mothers2mothers in Cape Town is offering a Graduate Internship Programme in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The role is based in Cape Town and reports to the Systems Manager.

It provides hands-on experience in design, deployment, and maintenance of Corporate and Finance Systems for students or recent graduates. The internship focuses on system administration, implementation, and support, with exposure to ERP and financial processes.

Qualifications

• Operating systems (Windows, macOS) knowledge required.
• ERP systems knowledge advantageous for integration and testing.
• Basic understanding of Accounting/Finance processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one; travel across SA borders.
• Ability to work independently, proactively and analytically.
• Ability/experience to provide Systems training to users from multicultural backgrounds.
• Provide financial administrative support to the Corporate Finance Team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, setup, configuration, and maintenance of systems.
• Support daily system administration tasks such as user account management.
• Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
• Collaborate to ensure system security protocols are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
• Participate in projects related to system upgrades and optimization.
• Provide technical support to internal staff, responding to tickets and inquiries.
