Job summary

Feltex Automotive in Durban is offering a 12-month FTC HR internship with hands-on experience in payroll input, HR administration and HR operations.

Ideal for a top-performing graduate with excellent communication skills and a passion for detail. You will learn recruitment, onboarding, ER admin and HRIS data maintenance while ensuring POPIA-compliant records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Completed B-Degree or equivalent in HR / IO Psychology / Labour Relations

• Superior English reading, writing, speaking and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and attention to detail required
• MS Office full proficiency - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Coordinate onboarding, inductions and exits
• Capture and validate monthly payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, changes, overtime, leave)
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (POPIA-compliant)
• Support ER admin (minutes, schedules, documentation) and HR reporting

Responsibilities

• Capture and validate monthly payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, changes, overtime, leave)
• Liaison with HR Specialist/HR Administrator as applicable
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (POPIA-compliant)
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and exits
• Assist with ER admin (minutes, schedules, documentation, DRC preparations)
• Compile HR reports and support audits and compliance
• Learning & Development administration and training coordination
• Event planning & engagements (wellness days, red carpet)
• Any other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications
