Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks an Expert Java/Angular Front-End Developer in Pretoria, South Africa. The role spans front-end and back-end work, cloud, and DevOps to keep critical systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• 6+ years' Front-End Development experience.
• 3+ years' Back-End Development experience.
• 3 years' Public Cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Experience with Java/JavaEE and/or Python3.9+.
• Exposure to modern web technologies and API design.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Infra as Code, and GitOps practices.

As a Front-End Developer (Expert), you’ll be one of thetechnical heavyweights in the team.

You’ll work across front-end, back-end, cloud and DevOps,helping build and enhance systems that keep critical supply-chain andproduction processes running smoothly.

You’ll tackle complex technical challenges, guide otherdevelopers, improve system quality and help shape solutions that are scalable,reliable and user-friendly.

You’ll be involved in:

• Buildingexciting new front-end functionality using modern web technologies.
• Developingand enhancing back-end functionality using Java and/or Python.
• Creatingand maintaining APIs that connect front-end and back-end systems.
• Buildingautomated tests and continuously improving test coverage.
• Maintainingand enhancing existing solutions.

Requirements

Front-End

You should also have 3+ years' experience withtesting frameworks such as:

• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright

Back-End

We need someone who isn't afraid to venture beyond the frontend.

You should have 3+ years' experience developing with:

• Java/ JavaEE and/or
• Python3.9+

And at least 1 year's experience with frameworks suchas:

• Spring
• SpringBoot
• Quarkus
• Flask
• Django

Plus experience with automated testing from unit testingthrough to E2E testing.

DevOps & Cloud

You don't need to be a full-time DevOps engineer, but youdefinitely need to speak the language.

Experience should include:

• Docker
• Infrastructureas Code
• GitOps

Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD,Flux and Helm will be highly valuable.

You should also understand monitoring and logging andhave experience working with ITIL operational processes, including:

• ProblemManagement
• ChangeManagement
