Job summary

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of software development experience in either C#/.NET or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; exposure to Azure is advantageous; familiarity with Git and CI/CD.

Software Engineer

Overview:

• We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join a growing product development team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions across modern backend and frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience debugging complex applications, and a passion for building high-performance systems.
• As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for working on our integration platform across the .NET 8 backend and/or web app front-end (Typescript, React). You have a solid track record of up to 5 years prior engineering experience and proven ability to debug complex code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain core platform components and services using modern .NET technologies.
• Build and enhance integrations with source control and developer tooling platforms.
• Develop high-performance, stream-based processing solutions capable of handling large volumes of data.
• Create and maintain reusable services, APIs, and application components.
• Develop connectors and integrations that efficiently process and transfer data between systems.
• Implement and maintain integrations with Azure services, including security and storage solutions.
• Develop and support authentication and identity management solutions using OpenID Connect and related protocols.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and modern deployment practices.
• Contribute to the development of intuitive web-based user interfaces and visual design tools.
• Support infrastructure automation and environment management using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 5 years of software development experience in either:
  • C# /.NET, or
  • JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is beneficial.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
