Job summary

Opensource is seeking an expert-level developer with strong frontend and backend capabilities in a cloud-enabled environment.

You will drive development across frontend and backend components, implement automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Working Model. The role emphasises Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure proficiency with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5/CSS).
• Experience with UI frameworks Angular 9+ or React.
• 3+ years' experience with test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• 3+ years' developing experience in Java or Python.
• 1+ year in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• 1+ year in CI/CD and automation (GitHub Actions).
• 1+ year automated provisioning and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Flux, Helm).
• Experience with ITIL operations and Azure; Agile Working Model experience.

Responsibilities

• Operations – 2nd and 3rd level support and troubleshooting.
• Develop new backend and frontend functionality.
• Implement changes to existing solution and maintain tests.
• Improve automated test coverage across the stack.
• Develop API integrations with backend services.
• Engage in refinement and quality checks across globally distributed teams.

Essential Skills

Frontend

• At least 6+ years' experience in front-end technologies:
• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• HTML5
• CSS
• Thorough knowledge of UI frameworks such as:
• Angular (Version 9 or higher) or
• React
• At least 3 years' experience with Test Frameworks, e.g.:

Backend – Java or Python
