Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Intermediate to Senior-Intermediate Test Analyst to join its Banking/Financial Services testing team in Sandton. You will perform Quality Assurance across platforms and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities include translating business requirements into test plans, executing integration, regression, functional and end-to-end tests, and documenting results to ensure a quality product before release, with a focus on regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking/Financial Services testing.
• Exposure to compliance/regulatory environment (beneficial).
• Exposure to FX trading activities (beneficial).
• Degree, Diploma or relevant Certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans and test packs.
• Perform testing on the platform as required, including integration, regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Document test results and communicate them to relevant parties (project manager, analyst, vendor, etc.).
• Communicate effectively at both business and technical levels with business analysts, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure a quality product before release by obtaining sign-off on test cases.
• Prepare release documentation, including deployment and back-out plans, with support from the business analyst.
• Periodically fulfill a support role post-implementation.
