Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Server and Desktop Support teams.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and reliability across all environments.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications will be advantageous.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on technical infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Strong experience within server, desktop support, and end-user computing environments.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and service management processes.
• Proven experience managing operational projects and service improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices within infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
• Solid understanding of desktop operating systems and end-user technologies.
• Knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.
• Understanding of information security frameworks and governance requirements.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimisation.
• ITSM certification.
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or Network+.
• Microsoft, Azure, or Linux certifications.
