About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee complex systems integration projects within their Pretoria, Gauteng headquarters. This role is crucial for ensuring that our various IT systems communicate effectively and efficiently, supporting the company's operational needs. You will manage projects from initiation to closure, coordinating with internal IT teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve seamless integration. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage intricate IT projects. This position is based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA, with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a balanced approach to office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire and develop resources, including employee bands and sub-contractors, management, and scheduling.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on systems integration.
• Proven experience managing projects involving ERP systems, CRM, or other enterprise-level software.
• Strong understanding of various integration technologies and methodologies.
