Intelligent Technical Solutions in Cape Town seeks a proactive Project Engineer II to plan, implement, and deliver IT infrastructure solutions for clients. You will independently manage standard projects, collaborate with internal teams and clients, and produce accurate project documentation to support long-term operational success.

The role requires hands-on experience with servers, networking, cloud platforms, endpoints, and related technologies, plus strong communication and customer-service

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience with distributed or remote teams.
• Hands-on deploying and troubleshooting servers, networking, cloud platforms, endpoints, and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting or project-based environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of client technology projects within scope, quality standards, and timelines.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot servers, networking, cloud platforms, endpoints, and security.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout planning, implementation, and handoff.
• Produce accurate implementation notes, as-built documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Identify process improvements and update SOPs and knowledge base documentation.
• Proactively identify technical risks and resolve issues to ensure project success.
• Provide technical guidance during execution and share knowledge with peers.
• Ensure completed solutions meet client expectations and support long-term stability.
