Boardroom Appointments in Durban is seeking an IT Asset Management specialist to establish an IT asset management capability by developing a comprehensive framework, policies and governance structures. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define standards, processes and responsibilities for effective asset management across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have ITIL Expert and COBIT certifications, strong experience in software asset management and configuration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• ITIL Expert Certification
• COBIT Certification
• Software Asset Management (expert level)
• Configuration Management
• Cloud technologies and digital trends
• ServiceNow experience (preferred)
• Proven portfolio of ITIL Asset Management implementations
• Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows and processes

Responsabilités

• Lead the drafting, review, finalization and approval of IT Asset Management framework, policies, standards, and processes
• Ensure the policies, standards and processes comply with industry regulations, best practices
• Ensure all supporting and dependency practices are defined and documented (e.g. required configuration management practices)
• Attend required cadence with the Project team
