Job summary

Swire Renewable Energy South Africa is seeking Blade Technician with IRATA Rope Access Level 3 for a short term project based contract. The role focuses on blade inspections, repairs and maintenance in the renewable energy sector.

Candidates must hold IRATA Level 3, GWO Blade Repair and Basic Safety Training, a valid SA driver's license, and be based in South Africa (Cape Town preferred). Prior experience on wind turbine blades (Category 4/5) is required.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 rope access is required.
• GWO Blade Repair and GWO Basic Safety Training are mandatory.
• Valid South African driver's license is mandatory.
• Residence in South Africa, preferably Cape Town, is required.
• Proven blade repair experience on Category 4/5 work is mandatory.
• HIRA, Liability and OHS Act training is required.
• Relevant e-learnings are expected.
