IIE Rosebank International is recruiting a dedicated assessment proctor to safeguard the integrity of examinations and oversee candidate conduct. The role requires attention to policy, accurate report writing, and a commitment to student safety and fairness.

The candidate should have Matric, 1–2 years of experience, and no criminal record, with a preference for higher certificates or diplomas. Applicants from South Africa are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• 1–2 years industry experience preferred.
• No criminal record.
• Knowledge of SA higher education regulatory framework is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor students to ensure no malpractice during assessments.
• Distribute answer booklets and exam papers to students.
• Ensure assessment conditions meet policy requirements.
• Prepare assessment venues to meet requirements.
• Provide support during emergencies (e.g., sick student, fire evacuation).
• Answer queries during assessments.
• Provide detailed, clear reports at the end of each session.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for safeguarding the safety and integrity of the assessment instrument and monitor the students during the assessment to ensure no irregularities takes place

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitoring students to ensure that there is no malpractice during the assessments.
• Distributing answer booklets and exam papers to the students.
• Ensuring that assessments conditions are always adhered to and meet the policy requirements.
• Preparing the assessment venues to ensure that it meets requirements.
• Providing support where necessary should an emergency arise e.g., sick student, fire evacuation.
• Answering any queries that a student may have during the assessment.
• Provide a detailed and clear report at the end of each session.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

• Matric
• Higher certificate/Diploma will be advantageous

Experience

• At least 1-2 years industry experience.
• No criminal record
