Job summary

Zohorecruit in Pretoria is seeking a motivated paraplanner to support Financial Advisers with investment planning, retirement projections, and insurance analyses. You will draft reports and advice records in line with FAIS, while handling client documents and compliance tasks.

Requirements include RE5, RE1 advantage, 2+ years of paraplanning experience, and fluency in English and Afrikaans. This role focuses on investments, insurance, and regulatory paperwork in a fintech-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' paraplanning or financial services experience
• Working knowledge of FAIS Act and General Code of Conduct
• Proven experience across investments, long-term insurance, short-term insurance, and medical aid
• Fluent English and Afrikaans (Read and Write)

Key responsibilities

• Investments & planning: Prepare investment proposals, retirement projections, and living annuity analyses; conduct portfolio analysis and fund/platform research; draft suitability reports and records of advice per FAIS; facilitate Section 14 Transfers.
• Long-term insurance: Conduct needs analyses and prepare risk cover proposals (life, disability, income protection, severe illness); perform comparative insurer analyses; prepare new business docs and replacement notices.
• Compliance & admin: Submit new business applications across all platforms; maintain client records per POPIA; ensure FAIS-compliant documentation; track pipeline and follow up with providers.

• RE5 essential; RE1 advantageous (Or in the process)
