Job summary

Old Mutual Limited is seeking an Investment Data Analyst to manage and enhance the Investment Repository (IR) for accurate regulatory, financial and management reporting across OMLACSA and related Group entities. The role focuses on data extraction, cleansing, validation and cross-functional collaboration to improve data integrity.

You will work with external data providers, auditors and internal stakeholders to deliver timely reporting while maintaining governance and controls within the IR

Qualifications

• B.Com/Business Science degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within financial services.
• Investment data analysis experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of SAM and SARB regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Support asset reporting extracts and reconciliations for IFRS reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and annual Regulatory submissions for Investment Asset reporting.
• Prepare asset reporting extracts and reconciliations for SARB reporting.
• Prepare biannual report of commonly held investments managed across asset managers.
• Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues with stakeholders.
• Manage data from multiple sources into structured datasets for reporting.
