Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (SA) Ltd is seeking an Investment Data Analyst to manage, maintain and enhance the Investment Repository (IR). The role supports accurate investment reporting for regulatory, financial and management purposes across OMLACSA and related entities.

Qualifications

• B.Com/Business Science degree.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within financial services.
• Investment data analysis experience advantageous.
• Good understanding of financial instruments is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work outside defined role and hours when required.
• Knowledge of reporting packages (Oracle/ HFM/ Infostore/ Kaizen Reporting).
• Proficient in Excel and handling large data sets.
• Understanding regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of SAM and SARB regulations is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for design and testing software.

Responsibilities

• Support IFRS reporting and asset reporting reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory submissions for Investment Asset reporting.
• Prepare asset reporting extracts for SARB and other entities.
• Manage data from multiple sources into structured datasets for reporting and decision-making.
• Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting.
• Assist with implementation of new regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
