Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join a prestigious investment banking firm in Sandton, Gauteng. The role focuses on financial modeling, valuation, and strategic support for investment decisions.

You will conduct in-depth analyses, build complex models, and contribute to due diligence for M&A, capital raises, and deal execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role in corporate finance or investment banking preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation and Excel; familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg/Refinitiv.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Conduct in-depth research of companies, industries and market trends.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and clients.
• Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and capital raising.
• Support deal teams in transactions including LBOs, M&A and IPOs.
• Monitor investment portfolios and provide performance analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity used in analyses.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting financial markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
