Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Investment Banker in Stellenbosch to advise corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial decisions. You will structure complex transactions, perform market research, and foster robust client relationships in a competitive Western Cape market.

The role requires an MBA or related advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity, with a proven deal execution

• Proven track record in deal execution and financial transaction structuring.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic corporate finance transactions.
• Develop complex financial models to support valuation, transaction analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations and marketing materials.
• Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and industry research for potential deals.
• Manage transaction processes from origination through closing, coordinating with legal and other advisors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other market participants.
