Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to efficiently manage incoming deliveries in a South African warehouse. You will verify quantities, inspect goods for damage, and record stock in the warehouse management system to ensure accurate inventory control.

Key duties include labeling, locating stock, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining clean, safe receiving areas while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, correct deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving deliveries and checking quantities against orders.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety rules and the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Capture received stock accurately on the warehouse management system.
• Label and allocate stock to correct storage locations.
• Report damaged or incorrect stock to management.
• Maintain receiving documentation and filing.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
• Ensure the receiving area is clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments regarding deliveries.
• Follow company policies and warehouse procedures.
