Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Receiving Clerk in Cape Town to manage daily inbound deliveries and ensure accurate stock recording.

You will verify quantities against purchase orders, inspect for damage, capture data in the warehouse management system, label stock, and support inventory control while maintaining health and safety standards. Liaise with suppliers and transporters to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth receipts.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Capture received stock accurately on the warehouse management system
• Label and allocate stock to the correct storage locations
• Report damaged or incorrect stock to management
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and filing
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control
• Ensure the receiving area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments regarding deliveries
• Follow company policies and warehouse procedures.
