Job summary

Network Recruitment's client, a leading mining conglomerate in the North West of South Africa, is seeking an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to own the stores function and ensure material availability for production.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical skills and a proven track record in inventory control within mining, driving improvements that reduce variances and improve budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of management experience in stores/inventory.
• Mining industry experience is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage stores and inventory function.
• Control stock levels, consumables and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee purchasing, receiving and issuing of stock.
• Manage goods receipts and stock movements.

They're looking for an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to take ownership of the stores function, ensuring inventory is accurately controlled, budgets are managed and materials are available when the business needs them.
