Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager for a leading mining organisation. The role oversees the stores function, ensuring accurate stock control and availability, while driving efficiency through a structured, hands-on leadership approach.

You will manage a stores team, optimise purchasing, receiving and stock movements, and implement improvements to processes and controls in a busy mining environment. Strong ERP experience and industry background are essential.

Qualifications

• 510 years' experience within stores, inventory or materials management.
• Mining industry experience is essential.
• Experience managing and developing a stores or inventory team.
• Experience with Sage or similar ERP system.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day stores and inventory function, ensuring materials and consumables are properly controlled.
• Manage stock receiving, issuing, goods receipts and inventory movements.
• Monitor stock levels, variances and inventory accuracy while implementing corrective actions where required.
• Assist with inventory planning, purchasing requirements and budget management.
• Identify and implement improvements to stores, stock control and inventory processes.
• Lead, develop and manage the stores team while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
