Job summary

Network Finance represents a leading mining organisation seeking an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to oversee the stores function, ensure stock is controlled, accurately recorded and available when required.

This hands-on leadership role requires building structure in a busy stores environment, managing a team and driving improvements in inventory accuracy, receiving, issuing and stock movements, while partnering with procurement and finance to monitor variances and control costs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in stores, inventory or materials management.
• Mining industry experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing and developing a stores or inventory team.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Sage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day stores and inventory function, ensuring materials and consumables are properly controlled.
• Manage stock receiving, issuing, goods receipts and inventory movements.
• Monitor stock levels, variances and inventory accuracy while implementing corrective actions where required.
• Assist with inventory planning, purchasing requirements and budget management.
• Lead, develop and manage the stores team while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls.
