Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Sandton seeks a meticulous Perpetual Inventory Controller to perform daily stock counts, reconcile system stock on hand, and identify variances, damaged stock or incorrect pricing. You will collaborate with Store Management to ensure stock integrity and accurate reporting.

The role requires strong numerical skills, basic computer knowledge and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, in line with Cashbuild standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 with 1 year related experience or 2 years related experience
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area
• Must be literate and have strong numeric skills
• Must be accurate and able to work under pressure
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perpetual Inventory Counts: Count stock daily according to the PIC Count Cycle.
• Investigate variances and report results to Store Manager.
• Rectify negative stock quantities daily after approval from Store Manager.
• Identify and report on damaged stock and incorrect pricing or SKUs.
• Assist with Wall-to-Wall Stock-take preparations and post-count checks.
• Ensure PIC documents are completed and filed daily.
• Adhere to Cashbuild values, safety requirements and customer service standards.
