Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Heidedal is seeking a Perpetual Inventory Controller to perform daily cycle counts and verify stock on hand against the system. You will investigate variances, report discrepancies, and flag damaged stock, pricing issues, and SKU problems to management.

The role requires Grade 12, basic computer skills, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong numerical skills and accuracy are essential in this busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 and 1 year work related experience or 2 years related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
• Must be literate
• Must have strong numeric skills
• Must be accurate and able to work under pressure
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perpetual Inventory Counts: Count stock daily according to the PIC Count Cycle.
• Investigate variances and report results to Store Manager.
• Rectify negative stock quantities after approval from Store Manager.
• Identify and report damaged stock to Store Manager.
• Conduct Mini Stock-takes as instructed by Management.
• Assist with Wall-to-Wall Stock-take preparations and report concerns.
• Normal PIC counts during full Stock-take.
