Job summary

The Financial Analyst at Pedros in Durban will maintain the accuracy of inventory-related financial records across ERP and WMS systems. The role focuses on inventory analysis, variance reporting, master data management, gross profit reporting and forecasting, and supporting system integrations.

The candidate should possess strong inventory knowledge, sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure reliable financial insights for procurement, production and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with Sage 200 Evolution or similar ERP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory concepts and processes.
• Experience with ERP and/or WMS integrations is advantageous.
• Experience with inventory transactions, reconciliations and variance reporting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage inventory master records on the ERP system.
• Review inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
• Plan and coordinate inventory counts.
• Analyse and report on inventory variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Update inventory pricing on the ERP system.
• Review inventory-related journals and manufacturing transactions in ERP/WMS.
