Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Specialist for Randburg to manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and optimize inventory processes across retail operations. You will work with store teams and suppliers to prevent stockouts and ensure accurate counts.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient with ERP systems and inventory software, capable of improving controls and reporting while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of inventory principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and policies.
• Manage stock transfers between locations and process incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Utilize inventory management software to track stock, generate reports, and forecast needs.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
