Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking an Inventory Data Analyst in Boksburg to support inventory planning, analysis, and reporting across multiple sites. You will generate reports, analyse stock trends, and assist with replenishment and data accuracy within the ERP system.

The role involves supporting production planning, maintaining ABCD classifications, and performing data verification. Travel to locations may be required, and mining-industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in Inventory Control, Supply Chain Analytics or Inventory Reporting.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Mining industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate buying reports to support production demand, rebuilds, sales and inventory replenishment.
• Generate forward-order reports for long lead-time inventory and supplier planning.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movements, slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Support inventory replenishment and inventory optimisation initiatives.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports for management.
• Maintain and update inventory-related Excel reports and dashboards.
• Analyse inventory trends and provide recommendations to improve stock availability and reduce excess inventory.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory and master data within the ERP system.
• Support production planning through inventory analysis and demand forecasting.
• Maintain and update ABCD inventory classifications and stock parameters.
• Assist with stock takes, inventory reconciliations and data verification.
• Travel to assembly and fabrication locations when required.
