Job summary

Enaex in Johannesburg seeks an Inventory Controller to manage stock accuracy, support procurement, and ensure SHE compliance across the Rosebank site.

You will maintain stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, reconcile SAP records, analyse usage trends, forecast needs, coordinate replenishments with procurement and warehouse teams, and generate detailed reports for management to drive cost‑effective decisions and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and participate in training sessions.
• Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of issues.
• Propose process improvements by identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations with relevant data.
• Monitor inventory levels to meet business demands and ensure stock availability for operations.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with SAP records to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain data integrity and prevent disruptions.
• Optimise stock control to minimise wastage and improve storage efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment.
• Analyse inventory data to identify usage trends, forecast needs, and support decision-making.
• Generate and present detailed inventory reports highlighting insights, variances, and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain warehouse standards by enforcing housekeeping, reporting hazards, and addressing defects to mitigate safety incidents.
• Coordinate stock management and distribution to production sites within required deadlines.
• Manage expenditure within budget by reviewing cost components and conducting monthly spend reviews.
• Monitor actual expenditure and take timely corrective actions.
• Ensure SHE compliance through training and monitoring activities and address gaps.
• Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration and maintain relationships.
• Identify personal development needs and pursue capacity-building opportunities.
