Job summary

Efficiency Staffing Solutions in Rustenburg, North West invites applications for a Stock Controller on a fixed-term contract. You will monitor inventory levels, conduct accurate stock takes, and report discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

You will assist with organisation and maintenance of the stockroom, maintain stock records, check invoices/GRVs, and ensure proper handling, storage and safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and identify stock and supplies that require replenishing.
• Conduct accurate stock takes and ensure all stock counts are recorded correctly.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies found during stock counts and report any stock shortages to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with organisation and maintenance of the stockroom.
• Document and maintain stock control and production procedures.
• Monitor the product expiry dates and ensure that stock is within the shelf-life range.
• Ensure that stock is handled, stored and transported with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling stock.
• Receiving stock, checking invoices/GRVs, stock counts, investigating variances, stock rotation and maintaining accurate stock records.
