Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our client’s warehouse in Centurion, Gauteng. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock data, reducing holding costs, and preventing stockouts through disciplined cycle counts and audits.

You will work with warehouse staff and procurement to manage inbound/outbound movements, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to optimize stock management in a fast-paced operations environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory Control or warehouse inventory management.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools, preferably Excel.
• Detailed understanding of inventory principles, stocktaking methodologies, and supply chain best practices.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Responsibilities
