Job summary

SAB is seeking an Inventory Analyst at the Queenstown Depot to manage finished goods inventory within the logistics supply chain and ensure product quality standards are met. You will reflect all physical movements in SAP, investigate discrepancies, and drive compliance with inventory governance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2–3 years of stock control experience, with strong SAP R3 and MS Office skills, and a high level of accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics or Sciences.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a stock control environment is required.
• MS Office proficiency is required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are expected.
• Solid knowledge of SAP R3 is essential.
• Ability to manage self and integrity is important.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Finished Goods inventory in SAP and ensure governance compliance.
• Block inventory in SAP per VPO/DPO standards and maintain quality control.
• Conduct independent inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in SAP.
• Investigate and resolve inventory differences with clear commentary and action plans.
• Process and validate all T1/T2 movements, packaging receipts, and related documentation.
• Review driver route settlements and open shipments for timely resolution.
