Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its FMCG facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will oversee daily operations, including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch, while ensuring inventory accuracy and a safe working environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse operations with 1–2 years in supervision, plus a solid grasp of WMS and health & safety regulations. A relevant qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Logistics/Supply Chain qualification is an advantage.
• 3-5 years in warehouse operations, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and drive team performance.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing and dispatch for FMCG products in Queenstown.
• Lead, train and motivate warehouse staff to meet procedures and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse.
• Implement and enforce SOPs to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
