Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Specialist for its Stellenbosch operations to manage stock levels and prevent stockouts. You will track inventory, conduct audits, and implement inventory control procedures to support smooth retail operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related field.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across the store, ensuring accurate stock counts.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures.
• Generate reports on inventory status, including stock levels, aging, and turnover rates.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues promptly.
